Start as a Meat Hygiene Inspector with Eville & Jones and we will help you to build a UK veterinary career and advance to some of the following positions:
- Official Veterinarian
- Small Animal Clinician
- TB Tester
- Export Certification Veterinarian
Experience is a plus but not necessary
Intermediate level of English
Ability to provide the highest standard of veterinary work
Eager to progress your veterinary skills
2. Main Duties:
Inspect live animals for signs of disease
Carry out post-mortem inspection
Check animal welfare and transportation conditions
Ensure unfit meat is destroyed and does not enter the food chain
Inspect the carcasses on the line (practical training is provided)
Minimum of 37 hours guaranteed per week
20 days of holiday increasing by one day per year with service to 25 days + 8 bank holidays per year
Permanent long - term contract
Paid accommodation during the training period
Training pay of 225.05 Pounds per week (minus income tax & National Insurance contributions) during the training period.
Help with RCVS registration
Support in opening an UK bank account
