Board of Directors 2011 - 2013

| The FVE Board consists of a President, a Treasurer
and three Vice Presidents. The Presidents and its Board are elected
for two years and can be re-elected once. The FVE Board meets several
times a year to discuss current issues and FVE's strategy. |

 Hans
Joachim Götz obtained his degree from the Justus-Liebig-University
in Giessen (Germany). Since 1991 he is also a specialist in equine
medicine.
He started working as an employee at the Veterinary Hospital for
reproduction and gynaecology at the University of Giessen; after
his license to practice he worked as a research assistant for two
years.
He has spent several years working in different farm animal practices
focusing on treatment of food animals and with assistance to farmers.
Since 1985 he, with other two colleagues, run a clinic nearby Kirkel
(DE) targeting on horses and companion animals.
From 2003 to date he is president of the Association of German Veterinary
Practitioners (BPT), Member of the Board of the Federal Chamber
of Veterinarians Germany (BTK) and Member of the German delegation
in UEVP and FVE. He has been member of several professional working
groups (e.g. veterinary medicine, veterinary education).
